Walking for a Cure: Lace it up for Cancer Campaign

Our Client: American Cancer Society/Relay For Life

Our Challenge: To advocate American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, a 24–hour walk for cancer, build a walking team and help fundraise for the fight against cancer.

Our Strategy: This year’s interactive mailer featured a time line motif. Past years’ fundraising goals and funny little events ran along the edge of the red shoelace, which was carefully glues to the front and wrapped around the mailer, guiding the viewer inside. The mailer, donation forms, reply cards and envelopes were produced in two-color to keep manufacturing cost low. Custom embroidered Lace it up for Cancer tees and caps were created as a “thank you” gift to all members of the walking team.

The Results: This interactive Lace it up for Cancer campaign helped build awareness and raise money for the fight against cancer.
